Prediction Market Fees Calculator
Prediction Market Fees Calculator Info
This calculator calculates the fees you will incur for a transaction at various prediction markets. The calculated per contract fee price translates to the actual break even probability for the event.
For an order that swept several prices enter a price and number of contracts row for each price. A new row is added with the + button. The fee is worked out for each price and the results added up, which is how the markets charge it. Because each price is rounded to a whole cent on its own, the rows should follow the prices your order actually filled at. Splitting one price into several rows adds a rounding to each and overstates the fee.
Note that this calculator allows you to enter prices in fractional cents. This will allow you to enter the average price you paid and compute from a single row, however, the fee calculated this way will only be a rough estimate.
A market may pay a rebate rather than charge a fee. Polymarket US pays a maker a rebate, which is shown here as a negative fee, and lowers the cost of the position. The Polymarket US taker fee rebate, earned on prior month taker volume, is not included, it is not applied at the time of purchase.
- Market
- The prediction market you wish to calculate fees for.
- Order Type
- The type of order.
- Price n...
- A price the order filled at, before fees, in cents from 1 to 99. A fraction is accepted, so a single row can still be given a volume weighted average price for a quick estimate.
- Contracts n...
- The number of contracts taken at that price.
